My Favorite Color Is October

Fall is here and I couldn't be more excited!  This is one of my favorite seasons and, for basic bitch reasons, I cannot get enough!  Pumpkin spice, moody manicures, chunky scarves, leather jackets, booties... I love it all!

Trends change all the time and when dressing for each season I try to utilize as many pieces that I already have. I've managed to build a pretty solid base of staple pieces in my wardrobe over the years.  Here are some key pieces that I think every girl should have in her wardrobe heading into Fall 2018...

You don't need to have every single trend of each season in order to Keep Up With The Kardashians-- even I can't get behind the biker shorts.  Yeezy is probably not a brand/designer I need to worry about .  Having staple pieces and periodically adding in those trends is all you need!  Spending a little more money on the staple pieces and getting less expensive options for the trendy items will help to balance out the budget too!

I am the queen of pinning outfit inspiration on Pinterest and bringing that inspiration into my real life.  With a set of staple pieces and the occasional 'trendy' piece you can do pretty much anything!

I had opaque black tights, riding boots and a neutral scarf (all excellent staple wardrobe pieces)-- all I needed was the striped sweater dress!  I did some research online and found an inexpensive version of the Pinned dress at Old Navy and was able to have an affordable Thanksgiving outfit!
